Meet Qware at Battle of The Chef (BOTC 2024)

Qware was attended to the 19th edition of the Battle of the Chefs (BOTC) 2024 between 27th to 29th June 2024 at SPICE Arena, Penang organized by Penang Chef Association and endorsed by Worldchefs as Continental Culinary Competition. BOTC 2024 brought together more than 1,200 locals and international chefs participating in nearly 65 categories of the 3 days of intensive culinary competition and international showcases.

As a strategic partner, Qware took the opportunity to take part in the exhibition booth to present and introduce new products to the culinary community. Among the highlights, our latest food serving products such as electric chafing dishes, gold-plated centerpiece and heat lamp are the outstanding ones.

Qware’s booth was one of the hubs of activity, attracting chefs, culinary students, businessmen and food enthusiasts eager to explore our kitchenware. To further engage with the event attendees, we held a lucky draw for the event’s visitors and the participants had the chance to win our kitchenware products with total prizes worth up to RM2,000. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all who participated and offer our congratulations to the 7 lucky winners.

Moreover, Qware hosted an on-stage presentation titled "Embark on a Wellness Journey with the Finest Qware Cookware" delivered by our Deputy General Manager, Kenneth Khoo. This presentation drew significant interest, with many visitors attentively listening and supporting us from the audience. We are grateful to everyone who took the time to engage with our presentation and learn more about the benefits of our cookware.

In addition to showcasing our products, Qware also played a vital role in supporting the competition. We provided all the cookware and utensils in the Chef Otto Weiber Trophy’s Kitchen, ensuring that participants had access to top-quality equipment to showcase their skills. Our contribution underscored our commitment to advancing the culinary arts and supporting chefs in their pursuit of excellence.

On the last day of the event, during the final gathering, the judges and committees wore the event T-shirts designed and provided by Qware. It was truly a memorable moment.

Congratulations to Chef Ashikhin and her team from Chenderoh Community College (KKCP) on being one of the big winners of Battle of the Chefs (BOTC) 2024, bringing home the most outstanding live cooking master chef award with 3 golds, 2 silvers, and 3 bronzes. Chef Ashikhin frequently travels abroad for culinary competitions such as Vietnam Culinary Challenge Competition 2022, Jeju Local Cuisine Competition 2022 and many more in future days. Her team has consistently lived up to expectations and won numerous awards. Qware has been one of her biggest supporters, cheering her on every step of the way. We hope she continues to shine brightly in the culinary world.
